To get rid of current blackheads: Apply hot moist compresses to the affected area; pat dry and sterilize with alcohol; make a small nick in the central plug with a sterile needle or small blade (this should not hurt or cause bleeding, if it does you went way too deep;) press downward with a comedone extractor (blackhead remover) bought from a cosmetics counter; the blackhead, with an often surprising amount of white stuff will pop out easily. If it does not pop out easily, try again some other time.
To prevent future blackheads: regularly apply a treatment of 5% benzoyl peroxide (10% is not any better), or salicylic acid. These are available over the counter. Tretinoin (Retin-A), azelaic acid and a few other treatments are available from a doctor. All of these treatments can irritate the skin at first and will cause blemishes below the surface to show up, giving the impression that the condition is getting worse before getting better. Expect a month of treatment before deciding that you have failed. Oral contraceptives help women with acne, and acne often appears when women get off of the pill because it has been unintentionally been treated previously. Is there a treatment that can get rid of blackheads? like a facial mask at a spa or something like that?
Try equate's Blackhead scrub, it has little microbeads in it that help get rid of the black head's for good. I used it and now all my blackheads are history.
I've always had a problem with blackheads, and what works the best for me is St. Ives Apricot blackhead facial scrub. It works really well and keeps your face cleared up. Use it in the morning and at night before bed.
go to a dermatologist..or u can try biore pore cleansing strips they do work
go to the spa, get exfoliation
Two products work well: Biore and St. Ives Apricot Scrub.
